Scratch Kitchen in North Vancouver is one of those places.
With two locations on the North Shore — one on Dollarton Highway and another on Lonsdale Avenue — Scratch Kitchen has built a loyal local following. Our neighbourhood spot is the Dollarton location, and we are often there on Thursday or Friday evenings.
We love Scratch Kitchen for its thoughtful, well-executed food. The salads are fresh and generous, and the thin-crust pizzas are delicious and easy to share. Our favourite is the Perfect Storm pizza, topped with pickled pineapple. This is a pro-pineapple household!

Scratch Kitchen also shines when it comes to drinks. The cocktails are creative and arrive quickly, and there’s a good selection of local craft beers available.
Service is consistently warm and friendly. A special shout-out to Jacoba, who always takes great care of us and makes every visit feel easy and welcoming.
